What makes nubeleaf different than other fruit/vegetable powders?

Are nubeleaf products gluten-free? nut free? soy free? dairy free?

Most of nubeleaf’s products are gluten-free, nut-free, soy-free, dairy-free and are suitable for vegan diets. Please contact us for any concerns on a certain item.

Are your products non-GMO?

All nubeleaf products are non-GMO.

Are your products Kosher Certified?

Most of our products are Kosher Certified.

Are pesticides used in growth of your products?

Nope! We steer clear of any pesticides.

What does “Wild-Crafted” mean?

Wild-crafted ingredients are harvested from their natural (or wild) habitat wherever they naturally grow. Since they grow in their naturally protected environment, they are grown without the use of any pesticides or fertilizers.

What is the ratio of fresh fruit or vegetables vs the same dry fruit or vegetable in powder form?

Our fresh fruit and vegetable powders (on average) range from a 7:1 to 10:1 ratio of fresh:powders. So that one cup of nubeleaf Blueberry Powder is equal to 7-10 cups of fresh blueberries. This ratio means that all nubeleaf powders have concentrated, long-lasting, nutrients in a much smaller quantity than their fresh counterparts – making it easier to create nutrient rich food for you and your family!

How are the powders made?

Our products are produced using a variety of methods from spray drying, drum drying, vacuum drying, and thermal drying of fresh produce. After drying, the dried products are milled to a fine powder.

Are your products 100% soluble?

The 100% soluble powders that we carry are Agave Inulin, and all of our juice powders.

How do I avoid your products from clumping?

We recommend always removing the air from the storage container and storing it in a cool, dry place. For even longer shelf-life and less clumping, you can store our products in an airtight container in the freezer!

How should I store my product?

Products are best kept in an airtight container in a cool, dark environment. We package our products in twist-to-shut jars!

What is the shelf life of your powders?

The shelf life of our products, when properly stored, is two years.

Where do your fresh ingredients come from?

We source our ingredients from around the world, but mostly our ingredients are from North America (Canada and the USA).

Are any essential nutrients lost in the manufacturing/drying process?

In processing of any kind, some nutrients are lost in comparison to fresh fruits and vegetables. However, since nubeleaf powders are highly concentrated, you receive more nutrients per quantity than you would with fresh produce.

Are there any additives in the powders?

Most of our powders do not contain any additives. Our juice powders may contain maltodextrin due to the drying process that is required to make a juice into a powder.

What is a “Superfood”?

Superfoods are nutritionally rich foods that offer health benefits due to their high levels of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants (which help protect our bodies from cellular damage and prevent disease), phytochemicals, fiber and healthy fats.

Do Hemp Products (Hemp Protein Powder, Hemp Nuts, Hemp Oil) contain any THC or CBD?

No, the THC and CBD content in hemp is extremely low, (less than .01%) and is concentrated in the leaves. All of our hemp products are derived from the seeds of the hemp plant and do not contain any cannabinoids.

What is Inulin?

Inulin is a fiber sourced from Blue Agave (yep, the same as tequila!) and supports the growth of healthy bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract. It is a popular ingredient in many baking formulations to increase fiber content and as it is naturally sweet, it can be used as a zero-calorie sweetener as well!

Are there any ingredients you offer that should not be ingested when pregnant?

All of our products are made from 100% pure ingredients, but always check with your doctor about dietary needs while pregnant. Our products are not meant to diagnose, treat, or cure any illness or medical issue.

What is your Pound for Pound Program?

We “beleaf” in giving and giving back, naturally: giving your body the best nutrients, giving the environment one less footprint, and giving to others – including charitable organizations and genuinely great causes.

Since not everyone has access to nutritionally rich foods, we created the Pound for Pound Program: for every pound purchased, we donate a pound of our nubeleaf fruit or veggie powder to a person or family in need. Every one pound of our Whole Food Powder is equivalent to 7 – 10 pounds of fresh ingredients. With each purchase, you are bringing these important ingredients into homes of those without access to nutritious foods. We beleaf in being the change and the more we connect with others, the better we’re able to effect positive change. Ultimately, we gauge our success by the difference we’re able to make for individuals, communities, and the world we share.

what’s your shipping policy?

We process and ship orders the same day if your order was placed before 10:00 am Pacific Time. Orders placed after 10:00 am will be processed and shipped the following day. Orders will be processed and shipped during regular business hours (*Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays). 

We are proud to offer free shipping on orders totaling over $100 via US Postal Service Priority Mail or UPS Ground. Orders that are below $100, will ship via US Postal Service Priority Mail which is usually no more than three days in transit to most places within the United States. Shipping carrier will be determined by nubeleaf at the time of shipment based on destination and to ensure that your shipment arrives in a timely manner. Expedited shipping is available, please contact info@nubeleaf.com for pricing. We are able to offer international shipping to Canada and other parts of the world, please contact info@nubeleaf.com to obtain shipping rates. Upon shipment, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking information. 

We cannot account for carrier delays that may occur. 

what’s your return policy?

We are dedicated to offering you the best value and service. Due to our products classification as a natural food product, items may not be eligible for a return due to personal customer experiences (i.e. not liking the taste, smell, color). Also, open products cannot be returned as they cannot be resold since there is a high potential for tampering and contamination. Only unopened items can be returned for a full refund.

Please note that customers are encouraged to purchase the smallest size available of the ingredient of interest to ensure that it will work in your recipes or formulations before committing to a larger size due to our return policy above.

Return Time Frame:

All customers have 30 days from receiving the product to bring up any dispute and request a return authorization code. The customer is responsible for return shipping charges unless the reason for the return is due to a Nubeleaf Inc. error in which case the customer will be provided with a return shipping label that is pre-paid as well as a full refund or exchange. All returns must be pre-authorized. Any return that arrives to nubeleaf without pre-written authorization will be considered an abandoned order and no refund will be issued.
