Cacao Quinoa Bowl

Ever had chocolate for breakfast? This Cacao Quinoa Bowl recipe is a good excuse to try it!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup uncooked quinoa, rinsed (I have used all varieties of quinoa in this recipe, so it is chef’s choice on which kind you choose!)

  • 2 cup coconut milk (or plant milk of your choice)

  • 2 tbsp of nubeleaf Organic Cacao Powder

  • 3 tbsp of organic maple syrup

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Pour rinsed quinoa in a small pot over low to medium heat.

  2. Add milk and stir. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes or until soft.

  3. Remove pot from heat.

  4. Mix in nubeleaf Organic Cacao Powder, maple syrup and vanilla extract.

  5. Top with fresh fruit, seeds, any other topping of your choice or nothing at all!
