Mango Sorbet

Just in time for summer, this recipe is a healthier and dairy-free alternative to ice cream.

  1. Start by making a simple syrup solution, by placing the water into a small pot on medium heat. Pour the sugar into the middle of the water and let it dissolve. To stir, swirl the pot. Do not stir with a spoon as the mixture will crystallize on the spoon itself. As soon as the sugar is completely dissolved and the water is clear, you can remove it from the heat. 

  2. While the sugar solution is heating, add the bananas and all powders to a blender. Blend to mix.

  3. Turn the blender on to low or medium speed and slowly pour the sugar syrup into the blender while it is running. Once everything is fully mixed, transfer it to a loaf pan, or air-tight container and let it freeze before enjoying.
