Matcha Face Mask

Most people have heard about the health benefits of matcha in food (matcha ice cream, matcha mochi, matcha cupcakes and brownies, etc) and in beverages (did someone say oat milk matcha latte?). Matcha has numerous health benefits said to improve mental clarity, remove toxins from the body, boost metabolism and energy, and encourage physical and mental calmness.

However, matcha is also a wonderful ingredient to use topically as well. When matcha is applied topically or used in skincare, it can help keep your skin soft, clear, and balanced. Matcha is rich in chlorophyll which helps detoxify your skin and fight harmful toxins in order to protect your skin. Also, Matcha is rich in antioxidants which can help reduce inflammation and puffiness in your skin.    One of my favorite ways to use matcha - aside from an oat milk matcha latte - is in a face mask.

This is a super easy DIY matcha face mask that’s great for cleansing the skin and helping maintain clear, glowing skin.
