Blueberry Banana Protein Smoothie

Smoothies are always a great idea in our world! A Blueberry Banana shake is a great choice for breakfast to fuel your day with extra nutrients and energy. This healthy recipe is also a staff favorite for a perfect post-workout replenishment. The antioxidant rich blueberries are responsible for its dark color making this smoothie recipe full of fiber and nutrition.

Combined with almond milk (or your milk of choice!), nubeleaf’s Organic Hemp Protein Powder, ripe banana and dates, this nutritious smoothie is naturally sweet and satiating.

Blueberry Banana Protein Smoothie
 

The Recipe

1 frozen banana (or try a tablespoon of nubeleaf’s Organic Banana Powder!*)

3/4 cup frozen blueberries (or try 2 tablespoons of nubeleaf’s Organic Blueberry Powder!*)

2 pitted dates

Tbsp Organic Hemp Protein Powder

1/2 cup water, rice milk or almond milk

Sprinkle oats on top for added fiber

(*If using the powders mentioned above instead of the frozen fruit, please add ice before blending to get the consistency desired.)

 

Directions:

Combine all ingredients into your blender and blitz it together until smooth. Add water until desired consistency achieved. Enjoy!
