Matcha White Chocolate Chip Cookies

Matcha Green Tea is known for its health-promoting properties, boosting the metabolism, aiding in weight loss, promoting a state of relaxation, & also for detoxifying and cleansing the body. Additionally, matcha is one of the highest sources of antioxidants, possessing as much as twenty times more antioxidants than pomegranates or blueberries. Nubeleaf’s Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder is a versatile ingredient that can be enjoyed simply as a hot or cold tea and can provide excellent flavor (and color!) in baking recipes such as the cookie recipe below.

The Recipe

1 tsp salt

1 tbs & 1 tsp nubeleaf Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, and matcha powder in a medium size mixing bowl. Mix well and set aside.

3. Whisk together the butter, white sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and eggs in a large mixing bowl.

4. Once the wet ingredients are well mixed, slowly add in the dry ingredients from step 2.

5. Add in the chocolate chips and mix until they are well incorporated.

6. Cover 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Drop the cookie dough onto the baking sheets. Each cookie should be 2 inches apart. Use a 3 tablespoon cookie scoop for big cookies and a 1 tablespoon cookie scoop for small cookies.

7. Bake for 8-10 minutes for small cookies and 12-15 minutes for large cookies.

8. Let cookies cool for 5 minutes before putting them on a cooling rack.

Enjoy!
